According to reports on the net, Gionee is ready to obstruct the market today by unveiling eight bezel-less smartphones at an event on November 26. The event is happening in Shenzhen, China. The Chinese smartphone company, Gionee has revealed an invite on Weibo.
The invitation reveals eight(8) smartphones with a diverse range of designs, although they have one thing in common – ‘full screen‘ bezel-less displays. The invitation also showed that the event is going to be streamed live in China on Shenzhen Satellite TV. Rumor has it that, the most significant frame which is the one at the front, looks like the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. The one directly behind the biggest frame looks a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S8 design.
Gionee Bezel-less Smartphones
Even though the invitation fails to speak about the smartphone models, a hint from Android Headlines proposed that the bezel-less smartphones are going to be the Gionee M7 Plus, Gionee M2018, Gionee F6, Gionee S11 and S11 Plus. In the eight smartphones yet to be unveiled, Gionee M7 Plus and M2018 will probably be a high-end smartphone – with a leather back panel and nearly 6GB of RAM not to mention the 64GB inbuilt storage.

Gionee S11 will likely come with a 6-inch full HD+ Display and a MediaTek MT6763 chipset powered by an Octa-core processor. It features a 5-Megapixel front camera and a 16-Megapixel rear camera.
Also note that all the yet to be announced Gionee smartphones will probably include 18:9 aspect ratio which could lighten up the minimal bezels. The hardware will undoubtedly have compatibility with the apps which are tested to be supporting bezel-less displays on the offerings designed Oppo, Xiaomi, Samsung to name a few. Also, the smartphones are supposed to run Android Nougat along with Gionee’s branded Amigo OS skin on top.
Currently, information about the availability together with the price of the new bezel-less smartphones will be heard soon. Gionee intends to bring a few of the smartphone to India market.
