Nokia’s new mid range in MWC 2018 | Is it the best in this range ?

Nokia has launched many new phones this year, ranging from a low-cost budget phone to a super slim flagship phone. Nokia 7 plus sits somewhere in the middle of midrange section.


The first thing you will notice is the design. The design of this phone is quite attracting with copper edges. It has 6.0 inches FULL HD screen with on-going 18:9 screen aspect ratio. This screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The back side is protected with 6000 series aluminum with copper edges. The total thickness of this phone is 8mm.

As this phone is based on Android One platform, it comes with latest Android version, i.e., Android 8.0 (Oreo). It is powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. This processor is backed up with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is provided with a hybrid sim slot which can support up to 256GB of SD card. All the power in this phone comes from a non-removable Li-Ion 3800 mAh battery.


The rear camera in Nokia 7 plus is a combination of dual 12MP cameras. First having an aperture of f/1.75 and other having a f/2.6 aperture. The rear camera features EIS, phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom and Carl Zeiss Optics lens. It also comes with Face detection, portrait mode, HDR, etc. Videos can be recorded at a resolution of 2160p at 30fps. The front camera comes with a sensor of 16MP with an aperture of f/2.0. It can record videos up to a resolution of 1080p at 30fps.

The new Nokia 7 plus will be coming soon. The official release of this phone can be expected around April 2018. Being a mid-range phone with this specs, the price could be around 25000-30000 INR.
