After several weeks of speculation and anticipation, Samsung has finally unveiled to the general public Samsung Galaxy Buds, the new true wireless headsets, successors of Gear IconX (2018). Let’s find out all the details.
Samsung Galaxy Buds technical features
Samsung Galaxy Buds by AKG can rely on Enhanced Ambient Sound technology, which allows you to feel what surrounds us even with headphones in your ears. They are equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 support , which ensures greater amplitude and better stability of the connection to the smartphone. They have IPX2 certification, which offers basic protection against water and humidity (no immersion or large splashes) and 8 GB of internal memory, while the batteries are a bit smaller than those used on Gear IconX (2018).
The Samsung Galaxy Buds in fact mount two 58 mAh batteries, which can also be recharged through the housing, from 252 mAh. According to the house, they offer a Bluetooth usage of about 6 hours (5 in call), with the case that can guarantee another 7 hours of use (1.7 hours with only 15 minutes of charging). About charging, the latter can take advantage of the PowerShare technology of the new Galaxy S10 to be recharged in contact (reverse wireless charging).
To improve the quality of the sound in call, the Buds take advantage of the Adaptive Dual Microphone, using an internal microphone and an external microphone in each earphone, to make the voice clearly audible in both noisy and silent environments. Do not miss the virtual assistant Bixby, which integrates with the other devices of the Samsung Galaxy range.
