Gaming isn’t dead yet for Potato PC’s 🙂

Well 2017 is going to end soon and there were tons of game releases this year. But to enjoy each and every game one must have a decent enough PC build. This is not possible for everyone, and many are stuck with pretty low-spec and mediocre PC build. We have just one thing to say to all our readers who have such PC’s, don’t worry we got you covered. Here are a list of games released in 2017 that will be able to run on most of the low-end PC’s without much hassle. So if you are ready to enjoy those low graphics and 30 fps gameplay then carry on.

  • Intel Pentium G4560 /Intel i3 6100
  • 8 GB DDR3 Ram
  • NVIDIA Geforce GT 610 2GB DDR3

Here’s the list of games that would perform nicely on above/similar specs:

  • Cuphead:

low spec gamesRecently released run and gun arcade styled shooter by StudioMDHR Entertainment Inc. This game features cartoony visuals, watercolor backgrounds and an awesome soundtrack. The gameplay experience is a lot better if you have a friend to play alongside you as Cuphead also features local co-op. It is quite fascinating how much fun experience one could get from such a nice little game. It performs extremely well even on basic computers.

    • Recommended settings preset : Medium Resolution (try low resolution if it lags on your PC)
  • Resident Evil VII:

    low spec games

CAPCOM’s latest sequel to the Resident Evil franchise performs extremely well on low spec PC’s. For those who don’t know about this game, Resident Evil 7 is a survival horror game, a well needed return to its roots. Embrace horror in first person perspective within a really tense atmosphere. It is recommended to play this game during daytime, with your lights ON 😀

    • Recommended settings preset : Low
  • Sniper Elite 4:

    low spec games

The latest installment in the Sniper Elite franchise by Rebellion , Sniper Elite 4 is an highly acclaimed stealth action shooter. This game takes place during World War II and you assume control of Karl Fairburne, a marksman working alongside Italian Resistance. The game has earned many awards and appraisal due to its extensive campaign, deep arsenal of weapons, and the fabulous X-Ray kill cams. Now who doesn’t want to shoot some Nazi’s in the balls. The game works good on low spec PC’s because its a tactical third-person shooter instead of mindless shooting at enemies. However you should expect some frame drops in wide open world areas. But hey, at-least its playable.

    • Recommended settings preset : Low
  • Dishonored 2:

    low spec games

The sequel to the first Dishonored game, developed by Arkane Studios, received much backlash due to its optimizations. However the bug fixes and patches have allowed many budget users to run this on their PC. In this game you assume role of Emily and Corvo, skilled assassins with supernatural powers. Just watch some gameplay trailer to know more about this game. You can get rock-solid 30 fps indoors, but as soon as you are outside, expect your fps to fluctuate to some extend. However the game is completely playable on budget PC’s.

    • Recommended settings preset : Low
  • Life Is Strange Before the Storm:

    low spec games

A direct sequel to the first Life is Strange game developed by Deck Nine studios and published by Square Enix. This game is a 3 part episodic story driven adventure game in which the game story changes according to the player’s action, much like TellTale games. This game plays extremely well on low spec PC’s. This is a story driven game and if you haven’t played the first one yet, then I suggest to play that first. The first game will also be able to run on most low end PC’s.

    • Recommended settings preset : Medium(you can easily tweak some graphical settings for max graphics and performance)
