The second presenter of E3 June 10, 2018, was Bethesda. Two games, Fallout 76 and Rage were confirmed prior to the event but Bethesda announced new titles as well.
1. Rage 2
The first thing that Bethesda showed was a gameplay trailer of Rage 2. The game is set in on a post-apocalyptic alien planet. The game reminds one of Borderlands and Bulletstorm in terms of dialogue and madness. It comes out in spring 2019.
2. Doom Eternal
Doom Eternal is the sequel to the 2016 reboot of Doom. The story of Doom Eternal picks up exactly where the story of Dom reboot left. Details about the game were not revealed at E3 but Todd Howard, director of Bethesda, confirmed that the details will be revealed at QuakeCon in August.
3. Wolfenstein Youngblood
Wolfenstein Youngblood, another unexpected title at E3, is the sequel to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. It takes place in 1980 in Paris and features twin B.J. Blazkowicz’s, protagonist of last game slaughtering Nazis.
4. Fallout 76
It is confirmed that Fallout 76 is an online survival game. There is no story aspect of the game. You can explore the wasteland of West Virginia, which is 4 times as large as Fallout 4, with friends or alone. Howard described the game as a ‘softcore’ survival, which means your progress would not be lost once you die.
Starfield is Bethesda’s upcoming sci-fi game. It was teased at the conference but no details were given. It was described as ‘Next Gen’ game which could mean that it would release on the next generation of consoles.
6. The Elder Scrolls 6
The Elder Scrolls 6 was the most hyped thing at Bethesda’s conference. Only a cinematic trailer wich just showed scenic hills was revealed followed by The Elder Scrolls 6. Not even the subtitle of the game was released. But the hype about The Elder Scrolls 6 is the strongest among all.
Other minor reveals and announcements.
1. Prey, a game released by Bethesda last year is getting a new DLC.
2. The Elder Scrolls Blade is a free to play game available on Android and iOS devices.
That ended the second day of E3. Tomorrow, Ubisoft, Square Enix and Sony will be presenting at E3.
