The famous Battle Royale game Fornite was released back on 25 July 2017, and it’s been one year since the initial release of the game. In a matter of just a year, the Epic Game’s popular Battle Royale game has taken all over the world like a storm. Fortnite’s popularity even made it’s way to the FIFA world cup as players danced the emotes as celebrations.

The latest free patch of the game adds birthday mini-games and cosmetics to Fortnite in a limited time event, which starts on July 24 and ends on July 7.

Here are the Fortnite first birthday event challenges-

  • Deal 1,000 damage to opponents to unlock the Fortnite Birthday – Emoticon
  • Dance at different birthday cakes – Happy Birthday Spray
  • Play 14 matches – 5000XP.
  • Complete all the three challenges – Birthday Cake Back Bling

Completing each challenge will unlock a slice an of the birthday cake.

There are many birthday cakes randomly spread across the map. Dancing at these different birthday cakes will unlock the Happy Birthday Spray.

If you’re playing the paid ‘Save The World’ mode in Fortnite, there are even more surprises, challenges, and gifts for you. There is a special Birthday questline in ‘Save The World’ mode. Completing the quests will give you the Birthday Brigade Ramirez Hero. If you earn tickets, you will be awarded Birthday Llamas which can which can contain heroes and weapons from every event this year.

The battle bus in Fortnite from which all the players jump down the map is also wrapped in birthday wrappers for the special event.

In addition to the mentioned goodies and challenges, there are various mini-games and challenges hidden around the world which Epic Games and Fortnite does not tell you about. For example, the skeet shooting mini-game that can be found on the map.
