2. Super Mario Odyssey
Super Mario Odyssey took the beloved Italian Plumber- Mario, into an open world. Once again, Nintendo revived a ton of new mechanics such as Cappy (Mario’s Cap) when thrown on anybody in the world possessed it and put you in its stead. It was an interesting experiment that included an exciting open world, 3D and 2D platforming and Nostalgia. It was also nominated for Game of The Year 2017.
