Smartphone Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be presented at a special event in China on March 27, 2018. The Chinese handset manufacturer confirmed that the gadget would receive a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The manufacturing giant uploaded a picture of an official invitation on a Chinese social networking platform called Weibo.
The announcement mentions the number 273 741, which is probably an evaluation of the device in the AnTuTu benchmark. If so, then Mi Mix 2S should be more powerful than all presented before February 2018, smartphones. For example, the iPhone 8 Plus is gaining 217385 points, and the iPhone X – about 10 thousand more.
Recent rumors and leaks have pointed out some AI functions which allow image sensors of the phone to give support for scene recognition. Also, we expect that the Sony IMX363 sensor will likely be installed on the smartphone with such exclusive features as “automatic HDR,” “object tracking” and “chroma flash.” It might seem that Mi MIX 2S will be the first smartphone company with an under display fingerprint sensor; Though recently released Vivo X20 Plus UD was the first to use this technology.
According to insiders, the phone in top-end configuration will be equipped with Snapdragon 845 processor from Qualcomm, will receive 8 GB of operative and 256 GB of permanent flash memory, a dual 12-megapixel main camera and a fingerprint scanner that is built into the screen.
The device will also receive a full ceramic case, a 5.9-inch full-DHD + screen, a 3400 mAh battery, an infrared port, Sony IMX363 image sensor and Android Oreo.
The smartphone Mi Mix 2S, most likely, will appear on the markets of India, China, and Western Europe. The cost of the device has not yet been reported, but probably Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be the most expensive mobile device in the history of the brand.
Previously, We heard that Xiaomi is preparing to exit the fitness tracker Mi Band 3, which will consume even less energy. The device with model number XMSH05HM was certified in Bluetooth SIG. From the specifications, you can understand that the bracelet will be equipped with Bluetooth 4.2LE with reduced power consumption.
