Huawei Virtual Assistant

Huawei is working on a virtual assistant with a unique “chip.” Most Android devices support Google Assistant, but manufacturers also offer proprietary solutions: for example, Samsung Bixby and LG ThinQ. Huawei also has an AI-assistant for the Chinese market, and now it became known that the company will introduce another helper – with a special kind of interaction between the program and users.

“We want to present emotional interaction. In our opinion, all our customers in the future will be able to communicate with the system through emotions. This direction we see promising, “- said Felix Zhang, vice president of the software engineering department of Huawei.

For example, Huawei will force the assistant to conduct dialogues with the user as long as possible, so that he does not get bored. It is reported that in the development of Huawei is inspired by the film “She” (2013) – a fantastic melodrama about the relationship of man with artificial intelligence Samantha.

The timing of the release of the new AI-helper is not reported.
