The Facebook messenger app for the Android has become a bloated mess with the recent updates. The user interface seems clunky and laggy, and a lot of other features are added which you probably won’t use like games, bots etc,. If you want a simple app just for your messaging needs Facebook has released a stripped down version of the messenger app called Messenger Lite. All the useless features such as games, messenger day etc., has been removed. It also is super fast and takes a lot less installation space in your device.The Messenger Lite app is a plain old Facebook messenger.
