In the real world, airbags are used in cars for safety reasons, especially in accidents situations. This technology has just been introduced to the mobile phones industry. Many people break their smartphones all the time either mistakenly or purposely. A German engineering student named Philip Frenzel have just launched the solution to such unexpected damages. This will control unforeseen spendings for repairs of smartphones parts. Frenzel created mobile airbags that sense when the phone is about to fall and releases metal prongs to protect it from damage.
This technology will no doubt save people from a lot of expenses especially concerning repairs of screens. After all, that is the most delicate and fragile part of mobile devices and smartphones. The era of cracked screens may be coming to an end sooner than we think.
