OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T have recently received a new software update, through the latest Oxygen OS 5.1.4 release. As always, the distribution takes place gradually through OTA, and in addition to introducing the latest Google security patches, updated to July, we also find a new sleep mode for the standby, aimed at improving energy consumption.
The changelog, specifically, refers to the following changes:
- Android security patches updated to 2018.7
- Added new sleep mode for standby (the system intelligently identifies when the user goes to sleep, disabling the data network during long periods of inactivity, thus reducing standby power consumption)
- Improved the clarity of the picture
- Group messages added
- Fixed some bugs
Who has not yet received the notification of the new update can perform a manual check of availability through the Settings section of your smartphone.
