The new update of the Twitter app for Android and iOS has brought a nice feature in the settings, where a new option has been added to enable data saving.
Thanks to this new feature, which can be activated in the “Data usage” section of the service settings, it is possible to consume less data traffic in the app navigation. When data saving is activated, images are loaded at a lower quality than normal, and video autoplay is disabled.
This mode is similar to that of Twitter Lite, a lightweight version of the app optimized for data savings. Already in recent weeks had been spotted by various users on the standard version of Twitter, but in that case, it was just a test.
From now on, however, data saver mode is officially available to all users of the Twitter app for Android and iOS. If you have not yet installed it on your device, Click HERE for Android user and HERE for Apple user.
