ASUS continues its efforts to gain a foothold as a manufacturer of smartphones and, while we wait for the ROG Phone to go on sale, has announced two new ZenFone terminals for the Indian market.
One of them, the ZenFone Max M1, we have known for months, but the other, the ASUS ZenFone Lite L1 is a new entry-level model that shares some features with the Max M1, such as the screen and processor, plus of a very tight price, as expected.
Zenfone Lite L1 Specs
The ASUS ZenFone Lite L1 has a polycarbonate body and moderate-sized bezels (not reduced) around a 5.45-inch screen. This panel offers a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9.
Inside, we found a Snapdragon 430 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage. It also has a 3,000 mAh battery and runs Android Oreo with the ZenUI 5 layer. The phone has a triple card slot so that you can use two nano SIM cards and one microSD card at the same time.
ASUS will sell the phone for Rs. 5999 (~$81) for a limited time before returning to its original price of Rs. 6,999 (~$95). Reliance Jio customers get Rs. 2200 (~$30) cashback and 50GB of data. It will also come with 100GB of Google Drive storage space. The phone will be exclusive to Flipkart.
In the section of the cameras, the main one has a 13-megapixel sensor with aperture f / 2.0 with PDAF, while the front includes a 5-megapixel sensor with its flash and support for facial unlocking.
At the moment, the ASUS ZenFone Lite L1 goes on sale in India at a price Rs. 6,999 ( about 83 euros to change ) and in two colors: white or black. The company has not confirmed anything about whether it will reach the international market.
