Bluboo S2 with a Folding Camera

Bluboo S2

A dozen different smartphones were brought to the exhibition MWC 2018 by Bluboo. The most interesting in our opinion was the new Bluboo S2. In the days of mobile devices with three or even four cameras, the manufacturer decided to equip the device with only one module – but with a folding structure. Also in the novelty is a reasonably capacious battery.

Bluboo S2 received a 6-inch display Sharp with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels and thin frames on three sides. If you look at the smartphone from the front, immediately notice the lack of a front camera. The fact is that it is only one in the device and is represented by Sony’s 21-megapixel sensor. When you need to make a SELFIE or make a video call, just pick up the nail and lift the camera. Thus, you will always receive pictures at the maximum resolution.

Frame Bluboo S2 aluminum, but the camera’s rotary mechanism is made of a unique reinforced material for reliability and durability. On the back, there is a fingerprint scanner. Also, we managed to find out that inside the smartphone there is a battery with a capacity of 4 200 mAh, which is quite enough for such a device. The device is running Android 7.0 Nougat.

The performance is the MediaTek Helio P23 processor and 4 or 6 GB of RAM, depending on the version. The volume of the built-in storage is 64 or 128 GB. Also announced the support of 4G LTE.

The Bluboo booth also featured the S3 with a 6: 9 aspect ratio screen, a 21 and 3-megapixel camera, a 16Mp front camera, a MediaTek MT6750T eight-core processor, 4GB of RAM and a battery capacity of 8,500 mAh. Among other novelties is a low-budget D5 with thin frames and a full-screen protected Bluboo RX. Information about these devices has not been disclosed.
