Rumors about the characteristics of the future flagship line of smartphones Huawei has repeatedly appeared on the network. According to the new leak, the top-end device of the Mate series will receive not two but three modifications at once.

The battery capacity of the Mate 20 is 4,200 mAh. The diagonal of the AMOLED display is 6.3 inches for the basic version, while the Pro version is rumored to get a large 6.9-inch screen. Given that the recently announced Honor Note 10 has acquired similar dimensions, the information looks quite plausible.

Received by the insider firmware files indicate the amount of RAM 6 GB and built-in storage for 128 GB. Also, it is indicated that the Mate 20 will support wireless charging – which means the case will probably be glass, similar to the already released Huawei Mate 10 and P20.

Since the firmware is only for Huawei Mate 20, the enthusiast could not get detailed information about other modifications – but in his opinion, the Pro version of the smartphone will get a built-in fingerprint scanner. As for Mate 20 Lite, it can acquire the Kirin 710 chipset, by which Huawei Nova 3i is built – however, this is only an assumption. Detailed information on the camera modules of new products was not found in the firmware, but it is possible that the main difference between the models of the Mate line will be the number of lenses, similar to the P20 and P20 Pro.

It is noteworthy that the firmware is assembled by Android P – this means that the new line of smartphones Huawei will ship with the latest version of Android out of the box. Given that the company equips its gadgets with EMUI’s proprietary shell, the latter will have to get the version number 9.0.

The announcement of the flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro is expected in October this year.
