As widely anticipated in recent days, the last day of February brought us a couple of interesting news from Redmi, the brand of Xiaomi that has recently become independent. In fact, the global versions of Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro have been announced.

The most awaited smartphone was certainly the second, which promises to bring an improved camera and an even more advanced Qualcomm platform. Let’s find out the details of the technical data sheet of the new Redmi -registered smartphone.

To confirm the rumours of recent weeks, with the Snapdragon 675 platform and the Sony IMX586 sensor to increase technical equipment of certain interest, especially by virtue of a decidedly aggressive selling price. As is the case with Redmi Note 7, the Pro version also features a 48-megapixel sensor with pixel-binning technology, which allows four pixels to be combined to create 12-megapixel images that guarantee excellent performance even with poor light conditions.

Three colours for Redmi Note 7 Pro, Neptune Blue, Nebula Red and Space Black, the first two with a gradient colour finish. Prices start at about 173 euros, for the 4-64 GB version and reach about 210 euros, for the 6-128 GB version. Redmi Note 7 Pro will be available in global stores soon.

During the same event, Redmi presented the global version of Redmi Note 7, destined to arrive on international markets. It is a model very similar to the one launched last month in China, but with a substantial difference, represented by the main sensor of the rear camera. Let’s go however to summarize the technical characteristics of the smartphone.

Compared to the Chinese version launched a few weeks ago, the global version of Redmi Note 7 adds support to the band 20, MIUI 10 Global and replaces the Samsung sensor from 48 megapixels with a 12 megapixel Sony. Three also, in this case, the colours available, Onyx Black, Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue, the latter two with a special finish. Prices start at around 124 euros, for the 3-32 GB version while they serve about 149 euros, for the 4-64 GB version. Redmi Note 7 will, also, be available in stores globally.
